PMCT and the Patchogue Lions Club Team-Up to Provide School Supplies for Pat-Med Students

For the twenty-fourth consecutive year, the Patchogue Lions Club and the Patchogue-Medford Congress of Teachers have teamed-up to provide school supplies for economically disadvantaged students in the Patchogue-Medford School District.  This year the members of the Lions Club and the Congress of Teachers made their presentation to the superintendent of schools, Dr. Michael Hynes and the district’s elementary school principals.  Congress of Teachers president Beth Warnken stated, “Our members are happy that they are able to make this donation to the students of our district, especially because we work with these students everyday.”  Lions Club president Louis Giordano emphasized that “this donation is a part of the mission of our club in the area of community betterment and truly serves those who have real need.”  Dr. Hynes thanked both groups on behalf of the district.
